Before Creative Hearts Design Co., there was Sweet Sentiments by Candace.

It began with a deeply personal project: finding a way to preserve my grandma’s Thanksgiving menu—the same cherished recipes and traditions our family continues to enjoy year after year. I wanted to create more than seasonal décor. I wanted a forever piece for my home that celebrated her, our family, and the memories we continue to make around the table at Thanksgiving.

Before the scroll saw and before the laser, I had a Cricut and an idea. I learned how to screen-print using Cricut vinyl and a simple wooden frame, bringing my grandma’s Thanksgiving tradition to life in a way that could be displayed and treasured.

That first project sparked something in me. It showed me how meaningful it can be to turn a memory, tradition, or sentiment into something tangible. What started as Sweet Sentiments eventually grew into Creative Hearts Design Co.—but the heart behind it remains the same: creating pieces that tell a story, bring people together, and become part of the traditions we carry forward.
