Sask Lilies

The Sask Lily represents a piece of home. The original was created for a family member who was moving out of country.   When she asked for something that would remind her of home, I had a vision of some lilies with wheat to represent the prairies and the stacked geometric shape of Saskatchewan in the background.  Paired with some barnboard from her childhood home, she was able to literally take a piece of home with her!

Fast forward a few years, there have been a few Sask Lily pieces that have made their way to homes near and far. The piece still excites me and fills my heart with feelings of home too. It has become a major flagship in the Creative Hearts Design Co portfolio and inspired the foundation for many other pieces along the way!
